The **Fenix WH23R** is a practical head torch for professional use. The torch is made form sturdy polycarbonate which is strong, oil resistant and fall resistant up to 2 meters. Because the light has a spotlight, floodlight, and combined beam, you will have the right amount of light in all conditions. Close up or far away, this light does it all.

## How to use the Fenix WH23R

The head torch has a large rotary switch that lets you switch between spotlight, floodlight and combined beam. This switch is easy to use, even if you're wearing gloves. You can also turn the light on and off by waving your hand within 10 cm of the front of the headlamp. Perfect if you're working with your hands. You can also turn off this function. 

## Charging the Fenix WH23R

You can easily charge the WH23R with the included USB-C charging cable. It takes approx. 1.5 hours to fully charge the light. The four little lights on the front of the head torch show the battery status.

## Light modes for the Fenix WF23R

### Spotlight mode

  * High: 300 lumens, burn time of approx. 6 hours and 19 min.
  * Medium: 120 lumens, burn time of approx. 9 hours and 32 min.
  * Low: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 36 hours.

### Floodlight mode

  * High: 300 lumens, burn time of approx. 6 hours and 13 min.
  * Medium: 70 lumens, burn time of approx. 15 hours and 36 min.
  * Low: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 36 hours.

### Spotlight + Floodlight

  * Turbo: 600 lumens, burn time of approx. 3 hours and 49 min. *The burn time of the turbo mode is calculated at the moment the light is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

Zoals verwacht van Fenix gewoon een goede hoofdlamp. Hij geeft voldoende licht! 
Er zijn twee minpuntjes voor mij. Hij draait niet zo makkelijk. Dat gaat erg stroef. Dus als je hem even naar beneden wilt schijnen moet je dat met twee handen doen. Hopelijk wordt dat iets soepeler. Verder is het een vrij grote lamp. Maar door de kleur ook wel weer goed terug te vinden. Wel lekker robuust!

De Fenix WH23R is een uitstekende hoofdlamp die uitblinkt in gebruiksgemak en duurzaamheid. Met 600 lumen biedt de lamp krachtige verlichting, ideaal voor mijn werkactiviteiten. Zowel de spot als de breedstraler geven in meerdere standen voldoende licht. Het slimme zwaaisensor-systeem maakt handsfree bediening moeiteloos, wat erg praktisch is. De verstelbare hoofdband zit comfortabel, zelfs bij langdurig gebruik. Een betrouwbare keuze voor wie kwaliteit en gemak zoekt!

Nadat in mijn eerder hoofdlamp die gebruikt wordt in de werkplaats een gebroken ruit heeft opgelopen door een impact van een stuk gereedschap opzoek gegaan naar een vervanger. 

Nu werk ik in de regel niet op locaties waar een atex lamp moet dus werd de keuze een pak ruimer. 

Voor deze hoofdlamp gekozen om een aantal redenen. Door de gebruikte materialen is deze lamp erg degelijk. PC is een behoorlijk stevog materiaal wat jaren goed zal blijven. Ook de kleur van de lamp is top, lekker opvallend.

Lichtstanden zijn mooi uitgebalanceerd voor het werken in een donkere omgeving. Voor prive gebruik heb ik een andere hoofdlmap en in een donker bos is een dikke 1000 lumen zeker praktisch maar werken in een kleine donkere ruimte vraagt wat anders, je witl jezelf niet verblinden.

Door de twee type reflectoren naast elkaar heb je oof een mooie beam of een aardige difused lichtbeeld, of natuurlijk beide ledjes aan waarmee je echt heel veel licht hebt om mee te werken.

Verder werkt de draai/drukschakelaar erg fijn, de wuif-functie doet het ook prima en komt soms van pas, geen gimmcik dus. En de blauwe status ledjes voor de lading zijn erg handig, zie je in eenkeer of dat ie aan de lader moet of dat je nog een dagje ermee vooruit kunt.

Comfort op het hoofd is ook ok, lamp is wel wat zwaarder maar zit toch comfortabel. Afstelhoek van de lamp is ook goed, En laden met USB-C is natuurlijk ook helemaal goed, gewoon de lader van de gsm erin en je bent vertrokken. 

al emt al ben ik er niet bang voor dat ik nog jaren werkplezier aan deze hoofdlamp ga hebben.

Prima lamp met voor mijn doel voldoende lichtvermogen. Makkelijk te bedienen. Kunststof behuizing voldoet goed. Felle kleur: makkelijk terug te vinden. Hoofdband blijft goed op zijn plaats zitten. Aan/Uit zetten met de handbeweging vraagt wat gewenning. Het is even zoeken op welke afstand je je hand voor de lamp moet bewegen en met welke snelheid. Groot voordeel van deze optie: aan/uit zetten met vieze handen. Klein nadeel van deze optie: kom je met de lamp dicht langs een object, dan gaat hij in sommige gevallen ook aan/uit. Overall: best een aanrader
