It is only ok it is the basic model, but I would have stretched my budget for a nice handle. I have medium-sized hands, and it feels small even with a pinch grip. I would probably get one with a round handle as I have another similarly priced Japanese knife with a plastic version of the traditional wooden handle, which is much more comfortable.
