This **Miyabi 4000FC gyutoh** is an all-rounder in the kitchen. This stylish chef's knife has a blade length of 24 cm. An ideal knife for different cutting chores: from cutting meat to preparing larger vegetables. The chef's knife is part of the Miyabi 4000FC-series. Made by real craftsmen at the Zwilling factory in Seki, Japan.

 ## Miyabi 4000Fc: the blade

 The special blade of the kitchen knife immediately catches the eye. The way in which the contours around the cut are treated gives the knife a striking appearance. It seems that two sheets of steel come together here. This while the blade is really made of one type of steel, namely FC61. A FRIODURx2 ice-hardened, stainless steel with a hardness of 61 HRC. A strong example that can be sharpened extremely sharp as well. It won't surprise you that the blade itself is razor-sharp. From top to heel. Thanks to the traditional Japanese Honbazuke sharpening method, whereby each knife is expertly sharpened and stropped in three phases.

 ## Miyabi 4000FC: the handle

 The blade of the Miyabi 4000FC knife blends seamlessly into the octagonal handle via a half-crop. Made from dark Pakka wood, with the characteristic mosaic pin in the middle. Stylish without too much fuss. Because the crop does not extend all the way to the blade's heel you can use the entire cutting surface. Practical with cutting and sharpening.

 ## About Miyabi by Zwilling

 The Miyabi knives are made at the Seki factory, by Zwilling Japan. These knives form the ultimate combination of German solidity and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

Op zich een mooi mes, Helaas was het lemmet gebogen. Contact opgenomen met de klantenservice en heb snel een nieuw exemplaar mogen ontvangen. Helaas was ook die niet helemaal recht. Ditmaal mijn geld maar teruggevraagd. Van een merk als Miyabi mag toch een betere kwaliteitscontrole verwacht worden.

Very good and high quility quick delivery 

Beautiful knife, unfortunately the craftsmanship is very shabby the bolster was severely unevenly grounded and the blade was leaning toward the left. Can't believe it passed quality control especially at such a high price

Quite sad as I was very exited for my first Japanese gyuto. I will ask for a refund from knives and tools
