Having successfully used whetstones and flattening stones previously, it was time for an update and I purchased Skerper based on the brand reputation for quality and the positive reviews. Unfortunately, in the process of sharpening a set of chisels and flattening the whetstones in between sharpens as per the usual process and manufacturer instructions, this flattening stone wore unevenly and introduced a curve (top to bottom) on the whetstone. I contacted Knives and Tools providing pictures of the issue, asking for this to be addressed, and have received no update, save a response to me chasing for an update. It's now been 10 days and still nothing. I have chased again, but don't hold out hope that this will be adequately addressed, if at all. A shame.
