The **Ruike Jager F118** is a solid fixed knife, designed for hunting purposes. Striking are the excellent ergonomics and the wonderful price-quality ratio. Although the name immediately reminds you of hunting, you can also use this knife for survival purposes and other tasks. The blade has a large ‘belly’. No, not obesity, but a beautiful rounded part added to the blade. Ideal for gutting game. The back of the blade has been enhanced with a stunning *swedge* which helps saves weight and makes the knife look even better.


The blade is made from 14C28N steel. A stainless Swedish type of steel which perfectly maintains its sharpness. In addition, it is easy to sharpen this knife yourself. Another clever aspect of this knife is the stonewashed finish which makes small scratches practically impossible to see, which is great when you use the Jager on a daily basis.


The handle was made from G10. A light-weight composite material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The large finger groove at the front of the handle ensures you will have enough grip. In terms of size we believe this knife is perfect for anyone who has small to medium-sized hands. When you have large hands the handle could feel a little too small.


You can keep your Ruike Jager F118 close with the plastic pouch which has a wonderfully thin and compact design. Additionally useful is the sturdy belt clip: with a 360 degree rotation angle which will follow you wherever you go. With a torx 8 bit you can easily turn this right-handed knife into a left-handed one.

Zeer mooi en praktisch mes. Absolute kwaliteit voor een zeer redelijke prijs. Het foudraal is superpraktisch ..

Mooi mes en scherp . Heft in het groen is echt prachtig alleen voor mijn handen te dun en te kort . De achterkant van het heft is oncomfortabel door dat deze te kort is en de vorm helpt hierin niet mee , het geeft een bepaalde druk die niet prettig aanvoelt. Door die rede heb ik het mes retour gestuurd. 

Voor de prijs helemaal goed . In tegenstelling tot andere review vond ik het mes daarentegen helemaal niet scherp.
Schede is wel goed en bied mogelijkheden 

overall the knife is great out of the box. sharp, handle shape great, weight balance great. good steel, and simply a good knife for the price.

Now. The knife i received was rushed by the sharpener it would seem. the tip is WAY off, with 1 bevel being A LOT bigger than the other. this is only at the tip. but its very noticeable on this knife, considering the spine is thick. 

For me personally this isn't a big issue, i was going to sharpen it anyways. And i don't expect this is a issue on the majority of this model. but it does bring down my expectations abit.

The sheath having 9 angle settings for the belt clip is great. I would like to see it in Kydex over plastic tho. Not that i would ever break it, it would simply be a upgrade.

Overall, its a great knife for the price. would recommend it, but if i heard/saw the tip being off on other models, i would take the recommendation back.
